Softland India Limited (“the Developer”) has developed the mobile application
OCEAN SAATHI (hereinafter referred to as the “App”), which shall be referenced as
such throughout this document where applicable.
By using the App or any of the services provided by the Company, or by voluntarily
providing your information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and
agreed to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. You
expressly consent to the practices described herein, including the collection, use, and
sharing of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time,
at its sole discretion. Any such changes will be effective upon posting. If you do not
agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App or our services,
and refrain from providing us with any personal information.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how Softland India Limited (“the Developer
“) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information. The term “you” or
“Users”, as used in this Policy, includes individuals using the App and services,
including our Partners, where applicable.
This may include the collection and processing of sensitive personal data or
information, and the purposes, methods, and modes of such usage are described in
this Policy.
We have developed this Privacy Policy to affirm our commitment to protecting your
privacy and personal information. Your use of and access to the App and related
services are governed by this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.
Definitions
- “Business” refers to an organization that has opted to use services within its
own branded mobile application. - “Publisher” refers to the owner of the App. Ocean Saathi is the Publisher.
For all other cases, the Business shall be considered the Publisher. - “User” refers to any individual who accesses or uses the App.
- “App” refers to the mobile application accessed or used by the User.
CONTEXT AND PURPOSE
This Privacy Policy is published in compliance with Section 43A of the Information
Technology Act, 2000; Rule 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security
Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011
(hereinafter referred to as the “SPDI Rules”); and Rule 3(1) of the Information
Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011
Collection of Personal Information
To provide our services effectively, we need to authenticate your identity and
understand your needs. When you access or use our services, we may request certain
personal information that can identify you or be used to identify you.
By creating an account on the App, you may be required to voluntarily provide

This information is collected to ensure a secure, personalized, and efficient
experience while using the App.
Name, address, mobile number
Bank details
Data regarding your usage of the services.
Other information that you voluntarily choose to provide to us such as information

This information collected from you by the publisher may constitute ‘personal
information’ or ‘sensitive personal data or information’ as defined under Rule 2(i)
and Rule 3 of the SPDI Rules.
Disclosure of Data
The Publisher may share your data with affiliated entities and third-party service
providers or vendors who are engaged to perform services on the Publisher’s behalf.
These third parties are permitted to use the data solely in accordance with the
instructions provided by the Publisher and only for the purposes specified.
Please note that any information that is: - Freely available in the public domain, or
- Accessible under the Right to Information Act, 2005, or
- Made available under any other applicable law,
will not be considered as personal information or sensitive personal data or
information under this Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
The Publisher will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the
services you have requested, comply with applicable laws and regulations, resolve
disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Additionally, the Publisher may retain your data for a longer period where there is a
legitimate business interest, provided that such retention does not override your
fundamental rights and freedoms.
Data entered into the App will be retained in accordance with any applicable
agreements between the Publisher and its customers.

Consent to the Privacy Policy
By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you provide your consent to the collection and
use of your personal information as required under applicable law.
Information Collected from the User
All information you provide, including sensitive data, is voluntary. We may use the
information you provide for purposes including, but not limited to: - Publishing your information on the App, accessible only to you or through
authorized Partners. - Contacting you for product and service feedback.
- Analyzing software usage patterns to improve product design and
functionality. - Promoting safe services.
- Informing you about offers, products, services, updates, customizing your
experience, detecting and preventing errors, fraud, and other criminal
activities, and enforcing our Terms and Conditions. - Sending you offers, product information, events, and educational content
based on your previous orders and interests.
The Publisher respects your privacy and will only disclose your personal information
as stated in this Privacy Policy, or when required by law, regulation, law
enforcement, government authority, or when Soft land deems it necessary to protect
its rights, prevent harm, combat fraud, or enforce Terms of Use.
We also reserve the right to periodically share aggregate statistical data about the
App and its users, such as the number of visitors or types of goods and services
purchased, without identifying individual users.
Your Duties
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide,
including contact details. If your personal information changes, you may update it
within the App or by contacting support. For changes to sensitive information such
as bank details, please contact our helpline.
If you provide inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information, or if Panther Nails
reasonably suspects such, the Publisher may discontinue services to you at its sole
discretion.
Termination
If you wish to cancel your account or request that we stop using your information to
provide services, please contact support – 9388726518. We will retain your personal
data only as required by applicable law.
Cyber Information and Cookies
The App uses temporary storage (cookies) for non-sensitive data to assist with
technical administration, research, development, and user management. Some of this
data may be shared with third parties.
This Privacy Policy applies only to services owned and operated by the Company.
We do not control external websites linked from our services and disclaim any
responsibility for data collected on such sites. Visiting third-party websites is at your
own risk.
Security Measures
The Publisher follows internationally recognized security standards and implements
technical, operational, and managerial controls to protect personal data against
unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or alteration. These measures include, but are not
limited to: - Encrypting data in transit using industry-standard methods.
- Storing data in secure private cloud environments.
- Regularly updating passwords and production keys.
- Restricting access to production servers.
- Performing routine security updates.
Despite these safeguards, the Publisher is not liable for losses resulting from
hacking, phishing, or theft of your electronic devices.
All security measures apply equally to Users and Partners.
Confidentiality
Your personal information is stored electronically on the Publisher’s systems and
those of its employees. The Publisher takes reasonable measures to protect your
information both online and offline through technical, operational, managerial, and
physical controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the data and business needs.
The Publisher is not liable for unauthorized use of your account. If you suspect
unauthorized access or use, you must notify support immediately. You will be held
responsible for any losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
Terms of Use
The program
Ocean Saathi is a rewards program created to recognize and incentivize members,
following the policies of the Ocean Group of Companies. Rewards are granted
based entirely on the accurate and honest information provided by participants. Any
transactions or data found to be fraudulent may be reviewed through audits or
inspections, and appropriate corrective measures will be taken.
Misuse
At any time, if the Company suspects a program member of misuse, manipulation,
or promoting fraudulent activity, it reserves the right to block the member and take
corrective action on the affected transactions. Any impact on earnings or rewards
resulting from these actions will be final and accepted by all program members.
Earning
The Company reserves full discretion over honoring earned points and may decline
any redemption request without explanation.
Change of Points
The Company has full authority to allot points, modify rules or the structure for
earning and redeeming rewards, and run additional programs without prior notice.
Any such changes, including those affecting point value or reward eligibility, are
final and accepted by all enrolled members without dispute.
Rights
The Company may discontinue the program or modify its terms and conditions at
any time without prior notice. All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of
Thrissur courts.
Tax Liability
Any tax liability on rewards earned through the program is the responsibility of the
participant. All participants agree to indemnify the Company against any taxes,
interest, or penalties imposed by government authorities due to their failure to pay
such taxes.
